My granddaughter will attend kindergarten in the fall. Serious stuff. The halcyon days of nursery-school-type activities and naps are a thing of the past. Serious learning is on the horizon.
She attended a pre-kindergarten class today. It’s only a couple of hours and its purpose is to give the kids a little taste of what’s ahead. Mom and Dad were twitching a bit last night, concerned that she would resist. In case you can’t tell from the photo, she has a mind of her own. I received the following email from my DIL today.
“She ran into the class excited. Came out happy. The only thing she didn’t like was that she had to sit.” 🙂
Wait until she finds out she can’t talk when she wants.
