Isn’t She Lovely?
by Bella Rum
This is a bloom on the camellia shrub at the end of my front porch. They burst forth when nothing else will dare, while the weather is still frigid and gloomy. Their delicate beauty is deceiving. Sill in the bud last week, this one survived a sleet storm. They always remind me that those we least expect can survive and even thrive in the harshest conditions.
