I’m Bella. I’ve blogged for more than ten years, but I settled here in 2007 and stayed for a few years. It was called Red Umbrella back then. Then I blogged for about six years at a place called Cul-de-sac Chronicles. A few years ago, I decided to come home and combine both blogs under one roof.
I write about a variety of topics, but mostly about my husband, the grands, a fortysomething-year marriage, and the humor, irony and indignity that accompany aging and this mishmash we call life. Despite the challenges of my sixth decade, I am more content with this stage of life than any other. Life can still be good when short-term memory, a robust bladder and perky breasts are but a vague echo across the rapidly disappearing years. Welcome to my blog.
